We understand that for some people moving home can be a real head ache. The North Solihull Partnership will offer as much support to everyone that needs to move through the regeneration as possible.
For a useful check list on who you may need to inform about your move click here and for some top tips on moving click here.
Home Purchase Manager
If you own a residential property that is identified for demolition, the Home Purchase Manager will contact you in line with the dates in the phasing plan to talk you. If you are living in the property as your main home, the Home Purchase Manager will talk you through the help available for you to purchase another home.
Residents' Charter
Download the latest version of out Residents' Charter. It sets out the rights of residents in North Solihull and gives you our promises if your home is affected by regeneration.
John Hall tells us about his new home
Having lived in the area for more than 30 years, John Hall knows all about the problems facing North Solihull. It was a model estate when he moved to Chelmsley Wood all those years ago, but things have changed since then.
Home Maker Team
The Home-Maker team specifically works with Solihull Community Housing tenants whose homes have been identified to be demolished. We only know which homes need to be demolished after we have fully consulted you about plans for your area and agreed a timetable for the changes (called a Phasing Plan, see glossary).
New Housing
There are lots of new homes for sale and rent being built by Bellway Homes (one of the Regenerating North Solihull partners). Some of the schemes are at there early planning stage and some are much further along the process and have been built.
